'Thalapathy' Vijay's Varisu will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on February 22, the film's production banner Sri Venkateswara Creations confirmed the big news in an announcement earlier today. Informing that the wholesome family entertainer will begin streaming next week, the blockbuster production-distribution house also revealed for the first time the title of the film's Malayalam version in a poster featuring Vijay and national sensation Rashmika Mandanna from the chart-buster hit 'Ranjithame' song. In their announcement, producer Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations has revealed that Amazon Prime Video will begin streaming Varisu in Tamil along with Vaarasudu in Telugu and Vamshajan in Malayalam starting next week.
This latest announcement from the Varisu team about the Malayalam version being titled Vamshajan is the first occasion it has been referenced as the venture was released in theatres in Tamil across Kerala. The film directed by Vamshi Paidipally continues to be celebrated in many cinema halls and the OTT premiere date will no doubt come as joyous news to Vijay's fans everywhere, who have been looking forward to watching it on streaming next. Vijay enjoys a massive fan following in Kerala and the response to his films over the years is a testimony to the adulation and admiration he has in the state. Varisu has turned out to be the biggest hit in Vijay's glorious career collecting more than 300 crores in returns in box office collections surpassing the earnings of the Tamil superstar's 2019 blockbuster, the action sports drama, Bigil. With the OTT premiere date now out, fans will also be looking to get word on the scenes featuring Khushbu Sundar and John Vijay alongside Vijay after they were deleted from the Varisu theatrical cut. The film also stars R Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Shaam, Srikanth, Yogi Babu, Jayasudha, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha Shanmughanathan, Nandini Rai, Ganesh Venkatraman, Sriman, VTV Ganesan, Bharath Reddy, Sanjana among others in pivotal roles, with S.
