'Thalapathy' Vijay's Varisu is gearing up for a massive worldwide Pongal release in January 2023 and the production is expected to come to a wrap in the days ahead. Billed to be a wholesome family entertainer, the upcoming film being directed by Vamshi Paidipally under Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations banner has music by chart-buster composer Thaman. S, with all sights now on the film's first single expected to release as a grand Diwali treat. That being said, a new release update for Varisu has now been made by reputed overseas distributor Uma Maheswara Rao Kanda, who will be presenting the film across Europe under his 4Seasons Creations AS banner. 

Varisu is the next big Tamil release for 4Seasons Creations AS in Europe after they recently announced they would be presenting Dhanush's Vaathi as well from December 2. The distribution banner will look to hit the high note with the 'Thalapathy' Vijay-starrer as the superstar enjoys a huge following among Tamil cinema fans in Europe. 4Seasons Creations AS had previously released several notable South Indian blockbusters films like the Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati-starrer Bheemla Nayak, director SS Rajamouli's RRR featuring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, and more recently 'Megastar' Chiranjeevi's GodFather and Akkineni Nagarjuna's Ghost in Telugu, including 'Rocking Star' Yash's KGF. Varisu has Vijay paired with national sensation Rashmika Mandanna and the excitement among fans has been high ever since it was announced that the duo would be sharing screen space together for the first time. Currently being shot in Chennai, reports state a song featuring the two stars is currently being shot after which the team will draw the curtains to the production. Speculated to be on the lines of Vijay's 90s blockbusters like Poove Unakkaga and Thulladha Manamum Thullum, Varisu includes an ensemble supporting cast featuring the likes of Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha Krish, Srikanth, Shaam, Bigg Boss 4 fame Samyuktha Shanmughanathan, and D. R. K. Kiran, with SJ Suryah, also expected to be making a special appearance in the film.
