Leading actor-producer Vishal has surprised fans by dropping a cryptic tweet about 'Thalapathy' Vijay ahead of the teaser release of his new film, Mark Antony, on Twitter on Thursday. Without revealing too much, Vishal tweeted, "#ThalapathyVijayforMarkAntony", which has left fans quite puzzled, who are wondering and speculating what the actor could be hinting at. While a section of fans are speculating that Vijay will be releasing the Mark Antony teaser today evening, it is not yet certain what Vishal's latest tweet is referrence to.
The last time Vijay released a teaser for a film was for the Tamil version of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan back in January when he extended his wishes to the Bollywood superstar and the entire team of the mass action film, which has since gone on to become the highest-grossing film (Hindi) of 2023. Likewise, the last time Vijay had tweeted a Tamil film's teaser was the G. V. Prakash Kumar-starrer Pencil, in 2015, and whether he will do the honors once again today for Mark Antony remains to be seen. Fans will know that Vishal is an ardent fan of 'Thalapathy' Vijay and was approached a while back by filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj to appear in a key role in the superstar's upcoming film, Leo. Although Vishal let go of the opportunity, he went on to reveal that he hopes to narrate a story to Vijay and direct the actor in a film some day in the future. Check out Vishal's tweet below:
