Sanjay Dutt last played the villain in 'Rocking Star' Yash's K. G. F: Chapter 2 (2022) under Prashanth Neel's direction, which went on to become a nationwide box office success. The Kannada pan-Indian film was released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam languages and currently sits in the top five list for the highest-grossing films in India. With Sanjay Dutt leaving everyone speechless with his power-packed performance as the dreaded Adheera in KGF 2 last year, all sights are now on him to surpass his own act in Leo and fans expect his showdown with Vijay on the big screen to be nothing short of a visual spectacle.
In Leo, Vijay and Sanjay Dutt will be seen sharing the screen with Trisha, who is playing the female lead, while the ensemble star cast includes 'Action King' Arjun, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Priya Anand, Mansoor Ali Khan, Sandy master, Mathew Thomas among others in crucial roles. Being produced under S. S. Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio banner, the upcoming film is also the second time Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Anirudh Ravichander are collaborating after Master (2021) and expectations are huge from the trio to make it a memorable outing in theatres starting October 19.
