Being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and featuring music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the excitement shot up after the film's production banner 7 Screen Studios yesterday released a promo for Leo's first single, with Vijay revealed to be the singer.

With expectations high for the 'Naa Ready' track to become yet another chart-topping hit, Lokesh Kanagaraj surprised fans on Wednesday, June 21, with the announcement of the film's first look. The blockbuster filmmaker took to Twitter to reveal that the much-awaited Leo first look will be out at 12 a.m. as the first big birthday treat for Vijay's fans. He wrote, "#LeoFirstLook at 12AM for @actorvijay Anna's Birthday #Leo 🔥🧊 (sic)," with the fire and ice cube emojis raising speculations about whether it's a reference to his alter ego as mentioned in the 'Naa Ready' song announcement poster unveiled earlier this week. It is to be noted that the Leo title announcement video released back in February gave audiences a glimpse at Vijay as a calm chocolate maker, who was also shown preparing for a fierce battle by forging a sword, with Lokesh Kanagaraj's latest tweet and emojis reminding us that there's more to it than meets the eye.

Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Anirudh have joined hands together for the second time with Leo after their Master went on to become a raging box-office success in 2021 and fans now look forward to a highly-entertaining album from the trio once again. With Vijay headlining the star cast, the film also stars Trisha as the female lead, with Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt playing the antagonist while 'Action King' Arjun, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Priya Anand, Mansoor Ali Khan, Sandy master, Mathew Thomas among others will be seen in pivotal roles.
