The talk centered around the release of 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Beast has been huge after it was officially announced towards the end of last year that the film will open in theatres this April. That said, there has been a big debate on which date the upcoming film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar under the Sun Pictures banner will hit screens considering only the month had been revealed. That said, popular Tamil comedy actor Redin Kingsley, who plays an important role in Vijay's Beast, revealed during a special Pongal celebrations interview with a leading Tamil television channel that the film will arrive on April 14. Best known among fans for his hilarious performance in Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor, Redin's latest statement is the first official confirmation from a cast member of Beast, which wrapped up production sometime back. As of now, the Beast production team is gradually completing their works in light of the pandemic and the spread of the Omicron variant, which has created a setback in terms of theatre occupancy that has been reduced to 50% capacity along with the restriction that the night shows not be screened. The situation in Tamil Nadu and the rest of the country is expected to get back to a certain level of normalcy in the days ahead, which will allow the makers of Beast to move ahead with the plans for the release of their film.
Redin Kingsley, who has also been seen in Nayanthara's Kolamaavu Kokila, has been a regular cast member in Nelson Dilipkumar's ventures and his addition in Beast will no doubt be a big highlight. Touted to be an action thriller, the film is currently one of the most-anticipated ventures in recent times as Vijay has been delivering one blockbuster after another. Apart from Vijay and Redin, Beast has youth sensation Pooja Hegde playing the female lead, followed by director Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Lilliput Faruqui, Shine Tom Chacko, Ankur Ajit Vikal, and Aparna Das cast in pivotal roles. 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander has composed the songs and the background score for a Vijay film for the third time after blockbusters like Kaththi and Master and is once again expected to deliver a chart-buster album.
