Thalapathy Vijay's Beast is set for its grand theatrical release on April 13 and we are just three days away from witnessing the film on the big screen. The film has been censored with a U/A certificate with a runtime of 2 hours and 35 minutes. Beast will have a pan Indian release in five different languages - Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam. Produced by Sun Pictures on a grand scale, this film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander whose songs have turned out to be big hits among the masses. The album of Beast consists of three chartbuster hits, with especially 'Arabic Kuthu' becoming a phenomenal success, transcending boundaries.

The film is directed by Nelson who has shown immense promise as a filmmaker with the success of his first two films - Kolamaavu Kokila and Doctor. Ahead of the film's release, the makers have now released a new promo teaser which carries a few new shots that we haven't seen so far. While we get to see a few shots of 'Arabic Kuthu' song, we also see some new action portions from inside the mall. The promo has caught the attention of the fans and has gone viral among the masses. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in this action entertainer that has acclaimed filmmaker Selvaraghavan in a crucial role. Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Aparna Das, VTV Ganesh, Sathish, Sunil, and others are also a part of the star cast. Vijay will be seen playing the role of Veera Raghavan - a secret RAW agent who needs to rescue innocent people, who are held as hostages by a terrorist group, inside a shopping complex in Chennai. Beast has cinematography handled by Manoj Paramahamsa, while Nirmal has handled the edit. Beast is set to take a record-breaking opening at the box office and the theatre exhibitors have already expressed their delight about it.
