In the film Maanaadu, the poster features the filmmaker's name as "A Venkat Prabhu Politics". Now, the new poster shared by Venkat Prabhu on his social media handles shows tags from some of his previous films being telecasted on small television sets. At the top, there is a television set that has a heart symbol and features "A Venkat Prabhu ????" He has shared it with the caption, "So what’s next? Wait till tomorrow at 11 a.m."

Venkat Prabhu's next directorial project was announced to be tentatively titled Thalapathy 68. The makers have not shared much about the project, but will be the milestone 25th project of the production house, AGS Entertainment. The film will also have Music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. It will be the next big project for Vijay after the anticipated film Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Venkat Prabhu's long-awaited film that has been in the pipeline is Party, was announced in 2017.
