An announcement that instantly sparked massive curiosity and interest among fans was when Sun Pictures last December revealed officially that their next production venture would once again be with 'Thalapathy' Vijay after the 2018 blockbuster, Sarkar. Initially tentatively titled Thalapathy 65, the film billed to be a mass action entertainer being directed by Kolamaavu Kokila fame Nelson Dilipkumar was announced on Monday to be titled as BEAST ahead of Vijay's birthday today. With the Beast second look as well unveiled as a surprise birthday treat for Vijay fans, leading publicity and poster designer Gopi Prasannaa shared the news of a milestone he has reached in his career with the superstar's upcoming film.

Sharing the Beast first look poster, Gopi Prasanna wrote on Twitter saying the film is his seventh collaboration with 'Thalapathy' Vijay, while also informing that it is now his 75th project overall in his career. The previous six Vijay films' publicity design work Gopi has done are Kaththi, Theri, Mersal, Sarkar, Bigil and Master, with praises now being showered once again for his skills in the Beast first look poster. His tweet read, "7th movie with Thalapathy @actorvijay ...my 75th movie... Here comes the #firstlook of #BEAST ..." Vijay's films over the past few years have laid a strong emphasis on the first look as it sets the tone and the visual campaign for any project and Gopi Prasanna's contribution in each of these ventures he's worked on for the superstar is testimony to his talents, which he has now delivered yet again with the Beast first look.

The Beast team is currently in Chennai and are expected to take a call in the days ahead regarding resuming production once again now that the Tamil Nadu government has granted permission to shoot within Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram and Chengalpet districts in line with the COVID-19 protocols and lockdown restrictions. Beast will see South Indian sensation Pooja Hegde paired with Vijay and will also be her comeback to Tamil cinema after nearly a decade when she made her debut in Mysskin's Mugamoodi. 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander will be looking to once again hit the bullseye for the third time with Beast after the staggering success of his songs and musical score in previous Vijay films namely Kaththi and Master
