A massive project in early development, ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth’s next tentatively titled Thalaivar 166 will be with blockbuster director A. R. Murugadoss reportedly under the Lyca Productions banner.
Composer Anirudh Ravichander will be joining hands with A. R. Murugadoss for the second time after their smash 2014 hit, Kaththi, and also for a Rajinikanth film, Petta, released earlier this year.
After Anirudh recently confirmed his association for Thalaivar 166, another crucial addition has now been made for the upcoming film in the form of costume designer Niharikha Bhasin Khan, who took to her Instagram page to confirm the news.
It must be noted this will be the second consecutive occasion she will be working in a Rajinikanth film after the blockbuster, Petta, released a couple of months back. Thalaivar 166 will also be the second-time association for Niharikha Bhasin Khan in an A. R. Murugadoss film after she had served as the costume designer in his Spyder in 2017.
Multiple big names are already on board Thalaivar 166 including ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan and comedian Yogi Babu. Expectations are massive considering it marks the first time Rajinikanth and A. R. Murugadoss are coming together for a film and fans await a ripper of a film.
