Upcoming movies that are in the pipeline are starting production one after another before the start of Aadi which is considered inauspicious. Even Ajith's next film 'Thala 57' has been launched officially today with a formal Pooja. The movie is being helmed by director Siva who has already made two blockbusters with the actor, Vedhalam and Veeram. Young sensation Anirudh will be composing the film's music.

Touted to be an action thriller, the team will start shooting for the movie, and we hear that Ajith will play the role of a investigative agent. The yet-to-be-titled project will be bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi films.
