Terminator admits that he fathered child with housekeeper!
Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former Governor of California and the star of blockbuster movies like Terminator, Commando and True Lies, has come out in the open and admitted that he had fathered a child with a member of his household staff, and also that this was the reason that his wife of 25 years Maria Shriver separated from him.
The actor went on to state that he had told his wife of this sordid affair which happened over a decade ago after leaving the governor's office. Arnold and Shriver parted ways earlier this year, after 25 years of marriage and 4 children, which was a major shock to their friends, family and well-wishers.
However, Schwarzenegger was quick to accept that he understood and deserved the disappointment from his friends and family, and also that he took full responsibility for his actions. He once again apologized to his wife, children and family. Sources state that the household staff worked with their family for nearly 20 years, and that Arnold had been supporting the child during that time. The staffer retired in January after nearly 20 years of service. However, neither the name of the housekeeper nor the name of the child was revealed to anybody.
Schwarzenegger further added, "I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time. While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not." He also professed his continuing love for his wife. "We both love each other very much. We are very fortunate that we have four extraordinary children and we're taking one day at a time."
It is a known fact that Schwarzenegger has faced several allegations of sexual harrassment and infidelity many times over the years, but his wife had stood by him through all them. Guess this incident was the final straw, and she could take no more.
