American radio and television host Andy Cohen has announced that he has become a father for the second time. The 53-year-old Watch What Happens Live! late-night talk show host took to social media to share the joyous news that he has welcomed a baby daughter via surrogacy. Posting a photo of himself in the hospital with the newborn, Cohen revealed the name of the baby girl, writing, "HERE’S LUCY!!!!! Meet my daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen." He added, "She’s 8 pounds 13 oz and was born at 5:13 pm in New York City!!! Her big brother can’t wait to meet her! Thank you to my rock star surrogate (ALL surrogates are rockstars, by the way) and everyone who helped make this miracle happen. I’m so happy."
Leading names in Hollywood, including Cohen's celebrity friends, have sent their love to the producer of the Real Housewives series. Southern Charm star Craig Conover wrote, "Andy!! You sure know how to fill everyone’s hearts up with love don’t you", while RHONY actress commented, "Amazing Congratulations Andy." Other notable names to quickly congratulate Cohen included Khloé Kardashian, who said, "Congratulations!!!!! How wonderful and blessed is your family!!! May God bless you all!!", followed by singer John Mayer writing, "Hello sweet girl! congrats Andy! Doing her star chart right now!!!" Lucy is Cohen's second child after he gave birth to his son Benjamin Allen also via surrogacy in 2019.
On Friday, Cohen posted another photo that showed him gazing at Lucy while she was sleeping. He wrote, "Greetings from Cloud 9 #ILoveLucy". The popular TV host also gushed about his baby girl in an Instagram Story, saying, "She's full of emotion. She's so sweet. And I feel really, really lucky." A picture was also posted by Cohen, which shows Ben interacting with Lucy.
