A mighty busy star these days, actor Suriya has his hands full for the year as his NGK will be hitting screens on May 31 followed by Kaappaan on August 30. He had also recently began filming for his Soorarai Pottru under Irudhi Suttru fame Sudha Kongara’s direction and is all set to get started with Suriya 39 under Siva’s direction.
Among his upcoming projects, Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru being produced by himself under his 2D Entertainment banner in association with Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment and music by G. V. Prakash Kumar has generated massive curiosity and excitement already as it is said to be a biopic based on the life of G. R. Gopinath, the founder of the airline, Air Deccan.
Production on Soorarai Pottru has been carrying forward at a steady pace with Aparna Balamurali playing the female lead and GV Prakash composing the music for the film. It must be noted that a song with ‘Rowdy Baby’ fame Dhee was recorded recently.
Meanwhile, Aparna Balamurali had issued a statement in which she was all praises for her co-star, Suriya in the film where she goes on to laud his efforts to deliver the best as well as talking about how she couldn't contain her excitement when she first got to meet her.
