Suresh gears up for second innings
Not many know that actor Suresh, who started his career in the Tamil film Paneer Pushpangal, was the first choice of eminent director Bharathi Raja for Alaigal Oyivathillai, which eventually had Karthik and Radha making their debut.
Recalling that missed opportunity, Suresh said he was already committed to do Paneer Pushpangal for directors Bharathy-Vasu when the offer came from Bharathi Raja. "I have no regrets to have missed that big chance as I believe in destiny," says Suresh, having begun his second stint in Kollywood with the recent Asal.
On his sudden comeback to Tamil films, Suresh said he was biding his time to find the right project. “It is great to work with the big banner of Sivaji Productions and a bundle of talent like Ajith," said Suresh.
Dispelling reports of a negative character, Suresh said it has negative shades to keep the suspense element alive. "Director Saran has shaped my character to a nicety and it is up to me to fulfil his expectations."
Suresh is confident of bringing all the experience of his 265 films into his work.
