15 years ago, on this very same day, we experienced a phenomenon like no other. It took cities by storm and later the country and finally the whole world. With that being said, today marks 15 years of superstar Rajinikanth starrer Sivaji: The Boss. The film was released way back on 15 June 2007 and was ahead of its time, going on to receive great praise and appreciation for its subject matter and the way it was ultimately presented. The film was very well-received by the audience, fans, and critics alike and went on to become a huge commercial success worldwide.

So, on this special occasion, to celebrate 15 years of Sivaji, AVM Productions, who produced the blockbuster film, took to their official Twitter handle and shared an exclusive voice message from Thalaivar Rajinikanth himself. In the voice message, the Superstar is heard acknowledging the brilliant masterpiece generated by AVM Productions and director Shankar. He goes on to say that it has been 15 years since the film came out and shows his gratitude towards the production company, the director, all the actors and artists involved in the film, and all the audience and fans who made the film a grand success. Finally, he concludes by saying it was all thanks to them and they shall have all his gratitude and happiness.

Earlier today, Superstar Rajinikanth went over to director Shankar's office in commemoration of their highly successful and inspirational collaboration 15 years ago. The acclaimed director also thanked his entire cast and crew for making the film one to be cherished! He took to his official Twitter handle sharing a picture of himself with the superstar. Along with that he attached a caption that read, "Elated to have met our Sivaji the Boss @rajinikanth sir himself on this very memorable day marking #15yearsofSivaji Your Energy, Affection and Positive Aura made my day! "
