Rajinikanth reveals the reason to use style in his films - check out the viral video!
One of the most popular actors in India, ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth has a following that spans across the world including a huge fan base in Japan since the days of his blockbuster, Muthu. Having said that, the Indian government had honored Rajinikanth with the "Icon of the Golden Jubilee of IFFI" Award at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2019 held yesterday. Post the award ceremony, the iconic veteran actor had in an interview explained about introducing style into his acting early on in his career. Rajinikanth stated, “In the beginning days, I made it a point to introduce a style or a gimmick in every picture I acted. It is easy for a villain to do a gimmick as a mannerism, but for a hero, it wouldn’t suit. For a villain character, there are no boundaries or limitations as he can do anything. However, for a hero, there are these restrictions. So, I decided to work on new gimmicks and mannerisms and, made it a point to introduce as such in every film I worked,”.
‘Thalaivar’, as he is also lovingly called by his fans, Rajinikanth was last seen earlier this year in Petta and now awaits the release of his upcoming action film, Darbar, in which he plays the role of a top-ranking police official. The reputed production banner, Sun Pictures, had sometime back also announced that their next film with Viswasam director Siva, tentatively titled Thalaivar 168, will have the iconic veteran actor in the lead role.
