The Corona Virus spread is getting severe and intense with every single passing day and it has indeed impacted the daily livelihood of people around the globe. In light of the Corona pandemic, the FEFSI Union, headed by R.K.Selvamani, stated that all film shootings shall stop until the situation comes under control. Most of the workers in the FEFSI Union earn their wages from daily shoots as beta and salaries. However, with the shooting getting stopped due to this, they were left with no options to earn.

On that note, leading stars have been coming forward with their financial aid to support the FEFSI workers. Earlier yesterday, we saw Sivakumar, Suriya, Karthi, and Sivakarthikeyan donating a few lakhs for the welfare of the daily workers. It has now come to our notice that Superstar Rajinikanth has donated an amount of Rs 50 Lakhs to FEFSI and it would be split and given to the workers.

The official announcement was made a few minutes back, through the PR of FEFSI Union. With no clear picture about resuming film shootings, many other actors are expected to come forward and lend their helping hands for the FEFSI workers. Stay tuned for more such updates.
