'Superstar' Rajinikanth is one of the top-tier actors who has a loyal fan base across India and the release of his films is celebrated like a festival in theatres across Tamil Nadu. The actor has an elder brother, Sathyanarayanan Rao Gaikwad and he is now set to make his acting debut in a Tamil film. Reports have stated that the pooja of the project was held at a temple in Krishnagiri. Some reports also stated that the Pooja was held at the place of the memorial of Rajinikanth’s parents. A video that has become viral shows the actor with the team of the yet-to-be-titled film. The movie is to be produced by Brilliant Creations Project. It is said that a Sri Lanka-based actor Madhan would play the lead in the film while Tamil actress Divya Sri will play the female lead. As the project has just been launched it is expected that more updates about the film will be announced soon.

'Superstar' Rajinikanth posted a photo and video of himself with his brother on social media in February and said they were celebrating the 80th birthday of his brother Sathyanarayanan Rao Gaikwad with the whole family and the pictures became viral on social media.
On the work side, the next project of the veteran actor Rajinikanth is titled Jailer and the production house Bankrolling the film, Sun Pictures, had said recently that the shooting of the film has wrapped. The whole cast and crew with the director Nelson Dilipkumar and actress Tamannaah were present in the photos that become viral. The film is set to release on August 10 and has created a huge star cast with leading sourced from different film industries roped in. The actor is also acting in an extended cameo in the film Lal Salaam, that’s directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth.
