Starring Bollywood actor Sunny Leone, V C Vadivudayan will be directing Veeramadevi under Ponse Stephen's Steeve's Corner banner with music by Amresh Ganesh and the film will reportedly be shot in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam for a release being planned for early 2019.

Sunny Leone has allotted a 150 days call sheet for Veeramadevi and latest reports coming out state the actor will be learning Tamil for her role to make it look and feel as authentic as possible for the viewing experience.
It is well-known Sunny Leone is adept in Hindi and this will be the first time she will be featured in a full-length role in Veeramadevi as opposed to her appearance in a song in actor Jai’s 2014 film, Vadacurry.
In addition, Sunny Leone has taken extensive horse-riding lessons to master her role as a warrior.
It must be noted Veeramadevi also has actors Navdeep and Nassar in vital supporting roles.
