A couple of months back, it was announced that the multi-talented Simbu would be singing a song titled "Periyar Kuthu" composed by Ramesh Thamilmani with lyrics penned by Madhan Karky and, jointly produced by Deepan Boopathy and Rathesh Velu.

Said to be a song on the Late social activist and politician Periyar, the song has now been presented to the current President of the Dravidar Kazhagam, K. Veeramani, who has appreciated the team for the initiative.

Although no release date for the "Periyar Kuthu" track has yet been announced, this latest development will no doubt send both the team as well as STR’s fans flying sky-high.
