The charming STR is back with a bang, after a hiatus. He has signed on to work for director Venkat Prabhu's Maanaadu and the pre-production work is underway! He has undergone a weight loss transformation and is back to working on director UR Jameel's Maha, which has Hansika in the lead and is her milestone 50th movie! The unit had been shooting some pending sequences involving STR and Hansika in Chennai and STR's fans were highly elated on his return. We now have an update on the Maha shooting schedule!

Our source close to the Maha team has confirmed that the ongoing schedule in Chennai was wrapped up on Thursday (30/01/2020). We also hear that the next schedule would happen in Delhi! Reportedly, STR has only 5 more days of shoot in this movie, which is being produced by V Mathiyalagan, under his Etcetera Entertainment banner. Some reports state that Sanam Shetty and Mahat Raghavendra are also playing vital roles in this project, which has Srikanth as the male lead and STR is to be seen in an extended cameo!

Maha's editing is by JR John Abraham with cinematography by R Madhi. Ghibran is scoring the music for this thriller movie, which is the 25th project in his career! STR seems to be making quite a strong comeback after his break and following the completion of his portions in Maha, will begin work on Maanaadu, which is being bankrolled by Suresh Kamatchi's V House Production. Speculations state that the team is looking at having an August release for Maanaadu! Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for this venture, which has Richard M Nathan's cinematography and Praveen KL's editing.
