Recently, on late Sridevi’s birth anniversary, Madame Tussauds Singapore had announced that they would be honoring her by unveiling a wax statue of the late legend. Today, Boney Kapoor and the late actress’ two daughters, Janhvi and Khushi, did the honors to Sridevi and revealed her statue to the world. Sridevi has been immortalized in her ever-famous and iconic look from the song ‘Hawa Hawai’ which was featured in Mr. India. It was an emotional day for her family as well as her fans who worship the late actress as a legend in Indian cinema.
As a tribute, Madam Tussauds collected messages from her fans across the globe and pinned them on the tribute wall behind the statue. Boney Kapoor had taken to Twitter earlier and shared the making of the statue. Fans were very impressed by the nitty-gritty’s that went into making this figurine look exactly like Sridevi. “Sridevi lives forever in not just our hearts but also in the hearts of millions of her fans,” Boney Kapoor had posted on Twitter.

It has been reported that a team of 20 artists worked with the family for over five months to replicate her expressions, make-up and the outfit. This surely is a fitting tribute to late actress. She will forever be in our hearts…
