Sreenu Vaitla to direct Venkatesh in 2009
Director Sreenu Vaitla has hit the jackpot once again with Ready, which is already turning out to be a blockbuster. Now he’s busy with Nagarjuna’s next flick, King, in which Amala Akkineni is said to have a brief role.

After that, he will be taking up Venkatesh’s film in January 2009 for which the story is by Gopi Mohan. He explained, “The subject is ready and will just require a few touch ups.” Kona Venkat is penning the dialogues.

Chintakayala Ravi, which Venkatesh is currently shooting, will be wrapped up before he begins Vaitla's project. Chintakayala Ravi is due for a Dasara release.
