Lokesh Kanagaraj's Vikram has been a soaring success since Day 1 of its release. It was an instant blockbuster and was ended up breaking multiple records in its run while making some of its own on its way. The film's soundtrack and score are composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography handled by Girish Gangadharan and editing done by Philomin Raj. The film grossed Rs. 432.50 crores and went on to become the highest grossing Tamil film of the year and fourth highest grossing Tamil film of all time.
The film recently completed its 100th successful day in theatres 5 days back on September 11. In order to celebrate this achievement, an event was held in Coimbatore by KG Cinemas. It was attended by Kamal Haasan and other crew members. The event was a lively and full of excitement as fans were going wild. This went on to show how much of an impact the film had on people all over the country.

Vikram is a Tamil action thriller film written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced under the banner of Raaj Kamal Films International. The film stars Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles with Kalidas Jayaram, Narain and Chemban Vinod Jose in supporting roles while Suriya makes an unforgettable cameo appearance as the dreaded Rolex.
The film is a spin off of the 1986 film of the same name and also comes under the Lokesh Cinematic Universe with 2019's Kaithi. It serves as the second installment in the LCU. The plot follows a black-ops squad led by Agent Vikram, in which he aims a drug syndicate group called Vetti Vagaiyara, led by Sandhanam, who wants the missing drugs to be delivered to his cold-blooded boss Rolex.
