All is not as glitzy as it might seem to the layman about those working in the entertainment industry as there have been numerous deaths across the world in cinema and music over the years. Likewise, there has been yet another major celebrity death now as popular South Korean actress Jeon Mi-seon was found dead on Saturday in a hotel at Jeonju. Suspicion began when the forty eight old actress had gone missing for nearly two days after which her manager raised an alarm. It is believed Jeon Mi-seon was suffering from depression with the local media going on to report saying she was found hanging in her hotel bathroom.
Jeon Mi-Seon’s death was confirmed by the Jeonju police, who stated that their investigations are still underway and they haven’t yet arrived at a conclusion regarding the cause of her demise. In their initial report, they went on to say that Jeon Mi-seon had in fact checked in her hotel room for two days and added that no suicide note was found. The Jeonju police in a statement said, “It seems Jeon has been largely depressed as she recently lost a family member while her mother has been ill in bed,”. Furthermore, Jeon’s agency, Boas Entertainment, released a statement saying, “The late Jeon Mi-sun had received treatments for her depression. We regret that we bring sad tidings.”
