Announced for a December release, Sivakarthikeyan's maiden venture as a producer under his Sivakarthikeyan Productions banner, Kanaa, directed by popular lyricist, singer and actor Arunraja Kamaraj, also making his debut stars Aishwarya Rajesh the lead role alongside Sathyaraj in this sports drama centred around women's cricket with Darshan, Ramdoss among others in vital supporting roles.
Featuring music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, the songs have gone on to be well-received by fans; especially the "Vayaadi Pettha Pulla" track sung by Sivakarthikeyan's daughter, Aaradhana, which has gone on to accumulate over 60 million views on YouTube. It must be noted the film's promotions have been on point with a motion poster initially followed by a good teaser released not long back to a positive response by fans.
Despite being led by Aishwarya Rajesh, Kanaa will also include Sivakarthikeyan making a notable guest appearance, which we can say is confirmed after witnessing him the Kanaa trailer released now and can be viewed below:
