Sivakarthikeyan's next film has been officially announced and the exciting details about the project are out! Yes! As widely speculated, Sivakarthikeyan will be joining hands with the young and promising filmmaker Anudeep KV who garnered everyone's attention with the recent Telugu hit comedy film, Jathi Ratnalu. This new film will have music composed by SS Thaman who is one of the most sought after and leading composers in South cinema. Tentatively called #SK20, this film will be produced by Narayan Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banner of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Suresh Daggubati's Suresh productions in association with Arun Viswa's Shanthi Talkies.

Sivakarthikeyan, while announcing the project, expressed that Anudeep is one of his favourites and assured that SK 20 will be a fun-filled entertainer. Announcing the film, Sivakarthikeyan tweeted, "Very happy to join with @AsianSuniel sir @SBDaggubati sir & my frnd @iamarunviswa for #SK20 ,directed by my fav @anudeepfilm & music by @MusicThaman bro. Similarly, music director Thaman also sounded highly kicked about this new film as it marks his first professional collaboration with his close friend, Sivakarthikeyan. The star composer tweeted, "And Here is My First o First with My dearest Nanban CricketMate @Siva_Kartikeyan Dir by ..this super hilarious Person Ever @anudeepfilm For My dear friend @ShanthiTalkies @iamarunviswa This is goona be our hilarious musical Journey. #SK20". This film will be a Telugu - Tamil bilingual and interestingly, it will mark SK's debut in Telugu cinema.

Thalapathy Vijay's Thalapathy 66, Dhanush's Vaathi/Sir are some of the recently announced Telugu - Tamil bilinguals and SK 20 has now joined that list. This update has come as a delightful treat for the fans who are now excitedly waiting for further updates. From what we hear, SK 20 will be a comedy based love story about a foreign woman falling in love with a Tamil tourist guide (SK) living in Pondicherry during her trip to the city.
