Popular singer, host, and actor Aditya Narayan and his wife Shweta Agarwal are now parents. The couple made the announcement on Friday that they welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on February 24, while also sharing a photo from their wedding on Instagram. Posting the picture, Aditya, son of playback singer Udit Narayan and Deepa Narayan, wrote, "Shweta and I feel extremely grateful to share that the almighty has blessed us with a beautiful baby daughter on 24.2.22." Wishes have been pouring from their celebrity friends, including TV and film actress Barkha Sengupta who commented, "Congratulations @adityanarayanofficial a daughter is a blessing! Enjoy the next phase of your life to the fullest." Likewise, singer Neeti Mohan wrote, "Congratulations Aditya and Shweta on becoming parents. Love to all of you." Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal got hitched on December 1, 2020, at the ISKCON temple in Mumbai. The couple had announced their pregnancy back in January with an adorable picture of themselves with the caption: "Shweta and I feel grateful and blessed to share that we are welcoming our first child soon," while adding the hashtag, "#BabyOnTheway". Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal began dating after they met on the sets of the 2010 film, Shaapit, which had them sharing screen space and was also incidentally the former's acting debut.
On the work front, apart from his stint in acting, Aditya has hosted several reality singing competition shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge, Indian Idol 11, and Entertainment Ki Raat, while also participating as a contestant on Bigg Boss 13 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9.
