Simbu will be joined by 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, who is now one of the hottest stars in the Tamil film industry.
Actor Arvind Swamy, a frequent artist Mani Ratnam collaborates with is also in the film.
Jyothika, who will next be seen in director Bala’s Naachiyaar next month also has a starring role in the ace director's film.
Fahadh Faasil, who delivered a satisfactory performance in Sivakarthikeyan’s Velaikkaran is a valuable addition to the cast.
Aishwarya Rajesh, who shot to prominence in Kaaka Muttai and will be next seen in Vikram’s Dhruva Natchathiram and Dhanush’s Vada Chennai has bagged a meaty role too.
Up-and-coming Malayalam actor Antony Varghese too is being talked for a role in the film as per reports.
