''Simbu has to give 4 days call sheet'' - Producer's statement

Maha is an upcoming Tamil thriller film written and directed by UR Jameel and produced by Mathiyalagan under the production company Etcetera Entertainment. The film stars Hansika Motwani in her 50th film in the lead role as well as Srikanth. This film is edited by John Abraham JR and the music is composed by Ghibran. Silambarasan aka STR is playing a lengthy cameo role along with Hansika. This project also features the likes of Karunakaran and Thambi Ramaiah. Speaking about the film, producer Mathiyalagan says: 
 
“Maha is Hansika’s 50th film, Simbu plays an extended cameo in the film. Srikanth and Thambi Ramaiah are also playing the other lead roles. It will be another film like Ratchasan, it belongs to that thriller genre. Maha is 80 percent completed, we will resume shooting by the end of this month. We are targeting a March 2020 release. Now we are the in the final leg of shooting. We need Simbu sir’s dates for 4 days and we also need Hansika ma’am dates. So, we can plan the shooting only based on their availabilities though the film is in its finishing stages."
