Sivakarthikeyan's fans have been treated to yet another sweet surprise as the Ayalaan team revealed on Wednesday, December 13, the mystery actor who will be voicing the alien character in the highly-anticipated film. The team made the much-awaited announcement informing fans that actor Siddharth is lending the voice for the alien character in the big-budget science fiction film while stating that there are more updates in the offing ahead. Directed by R. Ravikumar of Indru Netru Naalai (2015) fame, Ayalaan is scheduled for a grand Pongal release in January 2024 in theatres worldwide and this latest update about Siddharth voicing the alien character has no doubt come as a pleasant surprise, with many looking forward to his antics with Sivakarthikeyan.
Siddharth being announced to be voicing the alien character in Ayalaan comes after 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi played the narrator in Sivakarthikeyan's Maaveeran, who ended up being a major highlight of the superhero film released earlier this year. The team also shared a picture and extended their heartfelt gratitude writing, "Thank you Actor #Siddharth for being a part of Ayalaan and giving life to our cosmic Neighbour 👽 Every bit of enthusiasm, commitment and hardwork you've given has made our Ayalaan more realistic and lovely. There is quite a lot of buzz surrounding Ayalaan despite a release delay after it was initially announced to be coming out for Diwali in November. The Sivakarthikeyan film was reportedly shot for three years after being announced in 2016 and is billed to be one of the most ambitious ventures in Tamil cinema history as it includes over 4500 visual effects shots; the most for a full-length live-action Indian big-screen project to date. With the Ayalaan audio launch event scheduled to take place on December 26, fans are now looking forward to the second single's release from the Sivakarthikeyan film.
The excitement surrounding Ayalaan shot up after a fun-filled teaser was unveiled back in October, while the first single 'Vera Level' released back in 2021 featuring vocals by the film's composer Academy Award winner A. R. Rahman turned out to be a chart-topping hit. The film will see Sivakarthikeyan sharing screen space with Rakul Preet Singh, who will be appearing on Tamil cinema screens once again after NGK (2019), with the ensemble cast featuring the likes of Karunakaran, Yogi Babu, Sharad Kelkar, Isha Koppikar, Banupriya, Bala Saravanan, among others.
