Siddharth is one of the leading actors in the Tamil film industry. The actor made his debut with the film Boys which was directed by the popular filmmaker Shankar. He then acted in many films has touched the milestone of completing 20 years of his career as a hero. He has an exciting line-up of upcoming projects. The next film of the director that is set to release is titled Takkar. The film has created a huge excitement as it will be a romantic thriller drama that is to release in theatres on June 9th. The film is helmed by Karthi G. Krish who previously made the film Kappal and also has it also has Yogi Babu, Munishkanth and Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru fame Abhimanyu Singh in Important roles, while Divyanusha Kaushik is playing the female lead.

Celebrating his 20 years in the film industry, Galatta Media known for organising awe-inspiring events, organised a fans meet for the actor Siddharth. As a special surprise, Sujatha Rangarajan, wife of the famous Tamil writer Sujatha felicitated the event. The actor became emotional seeing her arrive and broke down on stage, he then got her blessings. The anchor then introduced her saying Siddharth was working as an assistant to director Mani Ratnam and it was Sujatha Rangarajan who recommended him as an actor to Shankar. Sujatha Rangarajan began by saying “I told my husband let's, suggest him to Shankar, he said no that boy wants to become a director. I said he will be perfect for the role and I told Shankar. When Shankar called he (Siddharth) said no, he wanted to become a director and then Shankar asked him to come just once for a photo shoot. Mani Ratnam also said go and Shankar was fixed saying 'you are the hero'. I said getting a hero role is tough and asked Siddharth to take it up."
The actor first introduced Sujatha Rangarajan, to the audience. Siddharth then revealed that he got to know only later that she was the one who recommended him to Shankar sir that there is a boy in Mani Ratnam's office and "everyone would believe her intuition." The actress then said “If she had not said that at that time, My life would have taken a different path. But I would not be sitting here celebrating 20 years of Siddharth." Watch full video:
