Breaking: Sibiraj & Remya Nambeesan's upcoming movie has been titled...

Sibiraj seems to have gotten it right in his second innings as a hero. After a couple of forgettable outings in his first innings, the lanky actor came back with a bang in the 2014 movie Naaigal Jaakirathai. Since then, he has been choosing his movies very carefully and working in entertainers that have been well received by the audiences. He was last seen in the 2017 action thriller Sathya, with Remya Nambeesan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar playing pivotal roles. Early this year, it was announced that Sibiraj would be teaming up again with his Jackson Durai director Dharani Dharan. Remya Nambeesan had been roped in as the female lead for this project, which is being produced by Kaviya Mahesh under her Auraa Cinemas banner.

We now have the title of this movie. Our sources close to this movie's production unit state that they have titled this movie Ranger. Earlier, it was reported that the story of this project would revolve around a man-eating tiger and quite a few portions of the visuals were shot in forest regions. This 4th production venture from the Auraa Cinemas banner went on floors on April 10th, with a grand pooja. The shooting happened in various parts of Andhra and Tamil Nadu, including some dense forest regions of Thalakkonam. Sibi is said to be playing the role of a forest officer in this movie and thus the unit have decided to go with Ranger as the title!

The man-animal conflict shown in this movie is said to be based on the killing of the tiger Avni, which happened in 2018. Meanwhile, the trailer of Sibiraj's upcoming movie Ranga was released recently and has been garnering a very good response among the audiences. He also has Maayon and Walter in the pipeline.
