Shruti Haasan has been officially announced to play the female lead in Megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming action thriller, Mega 154, directed by Bobby. The official announcement was made yesterday (March 8) marking the special occasion of International Women's Day. Chiranjeevi took to his official Twitter page to make the announcement and his update served as a delight for the fans. Sharing a picture with Shruti Haasan, welcoming her on board, Chiranjeevi tweeted, "On this Women's Day, delighted to Welcome you on board @shrutihaasan You bring Woman Power to #Mega154 @MythriOfficial @dirbobby #GKMohan @ThisIsDSP".

Details regarding Shruti Haasan's character are yet to be known and we will keep you posted. Mega 154 is directed by Bobby, aka KS Ravindra, who is known for directing several hit films like Ravi Teja's Power, Pawan Kalyan's Sardaar Gabbar Singh, Jr NTR's Jai Lava Kusa, and Venkatesh's Venky Mama. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers on a grand scale, this film will have music composed by Devi Sri Prasad whose songs in Allu Arjun's Pushpa turned out to be sensational hits among the masses. This film, Mega 154, has got huge expectations among the fans and it is expected to be an action saga.
