Dhanush is currently busy shooting for his next film, Captain Miller which has got huge expectations among the fans and film buffs. Captain Miller is directed by Arun Matheswaran who made critically acclaimed films like Rocky and Saani Kaayidham and it looks like he has got another potential winner in hand. Captain Miller is touted to be an intense action gangster drama set in the period times and it looks like we will get to see a different dimension of Dhanush. The film features Priyanka Mohan as the female lead, marking her first collaboration with Dhanush. Sundeep Kishan and Nivedhithaa Sathish are also a part of the star cast.

Meanwhile, an exciting development on the addition of one member to the star cast has surfaced and it is sure to make the fans delighted. If things go well, we may see Kannada Superstar Dr.Shiva Rajkumar playing a crucial role in the Dhanush starrer. Yes! Shiva Rajkumar, in a recent interview to Times of India has confirmed that he met director Arun recently and he was impressed with the narration. Shiva Rajkumar also revealed that he is a big fan of Dhanush, adding that there are a lot of similarities between him and D, with respect to the character.

Talking about it, Shiva Rajkumar was quoted as saying, "Director Arun came down to Bengaluru and narrated the entire story to me in 40 minutes. The emotional narration itself was so engaging that he visually showed the film to me. It is too early to speak about the role, but all I can say is, if we go ahead, the audience will be able to connect to the bond that I share with Dhanush. I am a huge fan of Dhanush. I have seen all his films. In fact, I see myself in Dhanush! The naughtiness, the way he behaves with his friends, he is just like me or I am just like him! We are that similar! I have a special liking towards Dhanush. I could not pass on the opportunity to share screen space with him."
