The sixth edition of Bigg Boss Tamil has kicked off on a fairly impressive level with good traction on social media. The show kickstarted with a total of 20 contestants that included GP Muthu, Vikraman, VJ Kathirravan, VJ Maheshwari, Janany, Sherina, Shivin Ganesan, Ram Ramasamy, Shanthi Arvind, Robert Master, Rachitha Mahalakshmi, Ayesha, Azeem, ADK, Asal Kolaar, Nivaa, Queency, Dhanalakshmi, Amuthavanan, and Manikanta Rajesh. Myna Nandhini entered the house as a wildcard contestant making a total to 21. In an unexpected turn of events, GP Muthu walked out of the Bigg Boss house in last night's episode (October 22) where he informed Kamal Haasan and the audience that he wants to go out of the house since he misses his son and family.

Respecting his feelings, he was allowed to opt out of the game and his exit came as a shocker to many. That said, today's episode (Oct 23) will have the first-ever eviction of Bigg Boss Tamil, and details regarding the same are out.

It has been confirmed that Shanthi Arvind has been evicted from the show with the lowest number of votes from the public and her eviction has garnered attention on social media. Shanthi, who is an actor and dance choreographer by profession, is best known for her performance in the popular serial, Metti Oli. In her two weeks of stay, Shanthi Arvind was quite an active participant in the cooking department and also actively voiced her opinions on various issues. Azeem, Nivaa, Maheshwari, Shivin Ganesan, and Shanthi Arvind were the last five people who were in the danger zone and among them, Shanthi has been decided as the evicted one.

Shanthi Arvind's eviction will be aired in tonight's episode of Bigg Boss and being the first-ever eviction, one can hope the house to turn highly emotional. With the exit of GP Muthu and Shanthi, the total number of contestants inside the house currently stands at 19.
