Shahid Kapoor has been the talk of the town ever since his recent release Kabir Singh. As already known, the film is a remake of Vijay Deverakonda’s Arjun Reddy. The film was a talking point because of various reasons and one of the major reasons was that it was extremely toxic. Shahid Kapoor was extremely criticized for the character he chose to portray. Although the expected collections were Rs 300 crore, the movie has managed to make a lifetime run of Rs. 276 crore. Now, the makers have released a deleted scene from the movie and Shahid Kapoor will manage to impress people in this one too!
The scene shows Kabi and his friend meeting a guy who typecasts women. Shahid then goes on to give a rant about how women should not be talked about in such a demeaning manner. This scene does manage to show the much-criticized character in a positive light. Let’s see how the audience perceives it.
On June 21, 2019, Kabir Singh hit 3,123 screens in India and 493 screens overseas. Arjun Reddy, which was released in 2017, minted Rs 510 million in its lifetime. Let’s see how Shahid manages to win back the love of the audience after this massacre!
