Living memory has gone dull for Shah Rukh Khan fans, what with the long wait for the celebrated actor's next project. Indeed, fans have been keeping an eye out for a movie since Zero came out in December 2018. Months have gone by with no news from the actor and now it turns out that the pause is intentional. The actor was recently quoted saying he felt the need to take some time out. "My daughter is going to college and my son is about to finish his studies. I just want to spend more time with my family right now," the actor said during a recent media interaction.
Rumours have been rife about two possible projects - a possible third sequel to the very successful Don franchise and a biopic on Rakesh Sharma. Then talks about him starring in the Sahir Ludhianvi biopic by Sanjay Leela Bansali - named Sare Jaan Se Achccha - also emerged. The actor never confirmed any of this and now, he has officially confirmed that he was having time-off. There is still news to be happy as King Khan is giving voice to the legendary character Mufasa in Lion King's Hindi version with his son Aryan Khan voicing Simba. Disney's 90s' jewel, The Lion King, or the much awaited remastered version, is coming to screens on July 19.
