Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan once again surprised fans when he announced an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Twitter on Monday, June 12. The actor, who made an explosive comeback to the big screen earlier this year with Pathaan, answered several questions from fans, including ones about his upcoming biggie, Jawan, under blockbuster Tamil filmmaker Atlee's direction. In a series of tweets answering fan queries, SRK informed him that he was planning on watching Jawan with Atlee later in the evening, while also revealing that the film is ready and will include "lots of action".

Scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on September 7, Jawan was initially planned to be launched into theatres on June 2 but had to be postponed owing to post-production works, which we now know have been completed based on what Shah Rukh Khan had to say today. The 'Bollywood Baadshah' is embracing a full-out action avatar after he kicked off the year with Pathaan after a four-year hiatus and will be looking to carry forward the momentum to new heights with the Atlee directorial. Jawan has massive hype surrounding it and all eyes are now on the next phase of promotions in the days ahead as everyone is looking forward to a new teaser of the film as only a title announcement glimpse was released last year.
Jawan will see Shah Rukh Khan pitted against Tamil superstar 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, who is playing the antagonist and there is plenty of excitement to witness the two big screen stalwarts in action. The film is a special one for a number of people as it marks the Hindi directorial debut of Atlee, while 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara, who is playing the female lead, is also making her grand entry in Bollywood, with 'Rockstar' composer Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer GK Vishnu, and editor Ruben also taking their first steps up North. Releasing as a grand venture in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, languages, Jawan is produced under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner.
