After a long hiatus from the limelight, Shahrukh Khan is all set to return to the big screen with Siddharth Anand's directorial Pathan. The film will also feature Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles. Fans of SRK could not be any happier with this news of their favorite star making his return. Shahrukh, Deepika and John are to begin filming their Spain's schedule soon and are all set to jet off on the first week of March.

The trio was to fly to Spain last year itself but they could not do so due to Aryan Khan’s arrest. But King Khan has already wrapped up a major portion of the action drama. But as the coronavirus situation is getting a little relaxed, the team is now focusing on starting their overseas filming schedule. It was previously confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan will make a comeback through Yash Raj Films’ Pathan but we will also see the Badshah of Bollywood play a small role in Salman Khan’s Tiger 3. The two films are rumored to have the same release date so it would be interesting to see the Clash of Khans in the box-office battling it out with one another.

Once he is done with Pathan, SRK wants to resume shooting his other film with director Atlee which has been on hold for a long time. He also wishes to commence shooting for a Rajkumar Hirani's movie this year. SRK has not come out with an official confirmation about Rajkumar Hirani’s next script however and several sources have confirmed the same. Rajkumar's next film is said to revolve around immigration and SRK has apparently already given his nod for the project.

SRK was last seen in 2018's Zero directed by Aanand L. Rai which was a box-office failure but was highly commended for its use of visual effects. His co-star Deepika Padukone will be diving into this project right after the release of her latest film Gehraiyaan when went on to perform really well among the audince, while John Abraham's last film was relatively recent with Satyameva Jayate 2 which came out in late 2021.
