Sathriyan is running successfully in theaters and have had a great opening amidst much competition. The movie has received great reviews from all channels. Vikram Prabhu’s subtle acting has been the most talked about aspect of the movie but there’s also Manjima and the supporting cast who did a commendable job.

The movie is based on true incidents and the way some gangsters live in the peaceful city of Trichy. The director received special credits for portraying the best aspects of the city while adding some emotions to the entire movie, even though it’s more about violence and less on love.
