Director turned actor Sasikumar was last seen in Superstar Rajinikanth's blockbuster film, Petta, in which he played the character of Malik. His next release would be the rural action entertainer, Kombu Vatcha Singamda, directed by S.R.Prabhakaran of Sundarapandian fame. The teaser of this film has now been officially released. From the teaser, it looks like KVS will be an entertaining action drama with all commercial elements in the right proportion.

Sasikumar looks comfortable on screen as this has been his forte. Madonna Sebastian plays the female lead in this film and her rural makeover definitely gives a fresh flavour to the film. The teaser hints that the film will focus on the friendship in Sasikumar's gang and how it gets affected due to the evil forces. The monochromatic touch looks different. This film is produced by Inder Kumar for Redhan Cinemas, who has produced films like Kuttram 23 and Thadam.

KVS is shot by Ekhambaram and edited by Don Bosco with music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas. Apart from this film, Sasikumar also awaits the release of Kennedy Club, in which he has shared screenspace with veteran director Bharathiraja.
