Sarpatta 2 was announced in March last year by Pa. Ranjith leaving Tamil cinema fans everywhere excited. Arya's latest video has already created a lot of buzz among fans, who have been conveying their wishes to the actor, while also expressing their hope to witness him don the gloves as Kabilan and this time on the big screen after Sarpatta Parambarai was released directly on streaming on Amazon Prime. Despite premiering on the OTT platform, the Pa. Ranjith film turned out to be a phenomenal success garnering immense appreciation for its deft filmmaking, engrossing story and screenplay, and power-packed performances, including chart-topping hit songs and a thunderous background score by composer Santhosh Narayanan.
Last seen in Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam (2023), Arya will be looking to come out firing on all cylinders with both Sarpatta 2 and Mr. X, and all sights will now be set on when the principal photography on both projects will officially kickstart. While Arya was the star of the show in Sarpatta Parambarai, the sports action film featured Dushara Vijayan, Pasupathy, John Vijay, Vettai Muthukumar, Kalaiyarasan, John Kokken, Anupama Kumar, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Santhosh Prathap, Sanchana Natarajan, G. M. Sundar, and Kaali Venkat in pivotal roles, and it remains to be seen who all will be returning to reprise to their roles.
