Prince Pictures has grown to be a major production house in recent times by delivering hit films like Sardar, Run Baby Run. The production house was behind backed many films like Dev, Mohini, Kaari, Sangam 2 and so on. They released the first look of an upcoming project titled Lubber Pandhu. The film will feature Harish Kalyan and Attakathi Dinesh in lead roles and will be directed by debut director Tamizharasan Pachamuthu. The title announcement poster shows it could be about cricket. The director was a writer in the film Nenjuku Needhi which had Udhayanidhi Stalin in a lead role and was directed by Arunraja Kamaraj. Tamizharasan was also a co-writer of Kana. He is making his debut film directed by Lubber Pandhu after being assistant director in Sigai and the associate director for Kanaa and FIR.

The production house also released pictures from the Poojai of Lubber Pandhu that took place yesterday. The film has Vandhanthi fame Sanjana and Swasika Vijay as female leads and will feature multiple actors, including Bala Saravanan in supporting roles. The project will have music composed by Sean Rolden, Cinematography by Dinesh Kumar Purushothaman, who was behind blockbuster Love Today, and Run Baby Run editor Ganesh Madan on editing.

Harish Kalyan shared the first look with the caption “We all Love cricket. I am sure you all will love Lubber Pandhu" revealing that the film will be based on cricket. The busy actor has multiple projects in the pipeline including Nooru Kodi Vaanavil that’s set for release soon, and Diesel and Dhoni production film Let’s get Married. The other lead of the film Attakathi Dinesh is a known talented whose film Pallu Padama Pathuka was released this friday. The first look of Lubber Pandhu has attracted the attention of movie buffs with fans excited to see Harish Kalyan and Attakathi Dinesh combo for the first time.
