Saranya Mohan's Kannada debut
Marking her debut in Sandalwood, popular Malayalam-Tamil actress Saranya Mohan, known to the Telugu audiences for her role in Village Lo Vinayakudu, has signed her first Kannada film.
Titled E Bhoomi Aa Bhanu, this film is produced by NRIs Prabhu and Arun A.; Venugopal is the director. A.R. Rahman is composing the music. Reportedly Saranya dons the role of a dancer in this film.
"I come from a family where all are dancers and Alleppey is my home town. I am happy for getting this performance oriented role. My classical dance background will not be of any help but the screenplay and team is very good. It will appeal to all sections of the audience," she said in a press meet recently.
