Filmmaker Ritesh Sidhwani recently hosted a grand party for the Russo brothers, who had come to India to promote their film The Gray Man. The Hollywood director duo, Joe and Anthony Russo, best known for helming projects like The Avengers: Endgame and Captain America: Civil War, arrived at the party on Friday which was attended by several Bollywood celebrities. Dhanush, making his Hollywood debut with The Gray Man, posed for the cameras with Anthony Russo and his wife Iolanda Cruz Dos Santos Russo. He was also joined by Sara Ali Khan, his Atrangi Re co-star, who posed with him for the paparazzi.
Sara Ali Khan, who shared the screen space with Dhanush in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re, congratulated the actor on the success of his film. She took to her official Instagram handle and shared a sweet picture with the south superstar. The actress captioned the photo saying, "Congratulations on The Gray Man!! Loved you in it as usual @dhanushkraja. Had a blast catching up with my Vishu Babu and thoroughly missed @aanandlrai ". Check it out:
Other stars who were at the party were celeb couple Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora. Shahid Kapoor was also spotted at the event with his wife Mira Rajput. Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan too made a grand appearance at the party with her son Aryan Khan, too, attended the bash later. Liger actress Ananya Panday was also spotted arriving with her dad Chunky Panday and mom Bhavana Panday. Producer Kiran Rao, Raveena Tandon, Ishaan Khatter, Sanjay Kapoor, and his wife Maheep Kapoor also showed up at the party.
Dhanush plays the role of Avik San, an unstoppable killing machine with a moral code. He accepts the assignment to terminate Ryan Gosling's character, but those who hired him forgot to tell him to leave his code of honor at the door.
Joe and Anthony Russo's The Gray Man was released on July 22 on Netflix and is considered to be the most expensive project Netflix has ever produced. Besides Dhanush, who plays an assassin, the film co-stars Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, and Ana de Armas.
