On Saturday, she took to her social media pages and posted an adorable photo of herself along with a heartfelt note filled with gratitude that she had penned herself. Samantha wrote, "Today marks my 12th year in the Film Industry. It’s been 12 years of memories that revolve around Lights, Camera, action and incomparable moments. I am filled with gratitude for having had this blessed journey and the best, most loyal fans in the world !".

Samantha has appeared in over 40 movies spanning over the 12 years long career in her resume. She is best known for her promising roles in Eega, Mahanati, Theri, Mersal, 24, Dookudu, Rangasthalam, Super Deluxe, Oh! Baby, including delivering an impressive performance as the antagonist in The Family Man Season 2. Samantha has become a national sensation after her first-ever steamy dance number 'Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava' in Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise, which became the highest-grossing Indian film in 2021.
As for her upcoming ventures, Samantha's first look in the mythological film Shaakuntalam was released earlier this week and will be playing the titular role under Gunasekhar's direction. She is also awaiting the release of Vignesh Shivan's Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal set to open in theatres on April 28 and will be seen alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. Samantha will also be making her Hollywood debut in The Arrangements Of Love, which will be directed by Downtown Abbey filmmaker Philip John.
