Earlier today, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu responded to a news report which talked about fans of her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya being upset with her PR team for planting baseless rumors about his present relationship. According to the report, Samantha’s PR team was spreading rumors about Naga Chaitanya dating actress Sobhita Dhulipala.

Reacting to the report, Samantha took to her Twitter handle to give this a piece of her mind. She replied to the article by saying, "Rumours on girl - Must be true !! Rumours on boy - Planted by girl !! Grow up guys .. Parties involved have clearly moved on .. you should move on too !! Concentrate on your work … on your families .. move on!! "

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya got married at a destination wedding in 2017. But the couple announced their separation just days before their fifth wedding anniversary. The couple took to their respective social media accounts on October 2 last year to announce this news as they ended their nearly four-year-long marriage due to irreconcilable differences.

While the two never actually made their split public, Samantha openly mentioned that she was not a victim and that people should stop making reports around them. Samantha will be making her debut on Koffee With Karan which will stream on Disney+Hotstar from July 7. The actress recently shot for her episode and rumors also suggest that the actress spoke about her divorce during her appearance on Season 7 of the show hosted by Karan Johar. 

On the work front, as Samantha is reveling in the success of Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, she is also busy with the other films in her kitty. These include Shaakuntalam, which is currently in post-production, and Yashoda and Kushi as well, which are currently being filmed. She also has an untitled film with Shantharuban and her first foreign film, Arrangements of Love.
