Samantha Ruth Prabhu took part in an Ask Me Anything (AMA) live session on Instagram on Tuesday, September 19, and answered the queries of fans and well-wishers regarding her personal life as well as her plans for her future roles. Currently on cloud nine after the sensational response to her latest film, Kushi, alongside Telugu superstar Vijay Deverakonda, the leading South Indian actress, who is currently on a break and on a healing journey to recover from her autoimmune condition, Myositis, also revealed that she wants to be seen in roles that will make her step out of her safe zone for her future roles, while also sharing her excitement for her Amazon Prime series, Citadel.

Speaking about her future ventures, Samantha revealed, "My next project is to actually not have one. Not have a plan. Let's see. I know that I want to be more selective about the things that I'm going to work on, the things that can really push me out of my comfort zone. So, until I get a role like that, I'm okay." Samantha also shared her love for doing action-based roles and revealed that there's a lot that fans will be treated to in the upcoming series, Citadel. She said, "One thing I'm really, really excited about is action. I don't know why, [but] I've never been a brutal person. I love action. I just love it and I think that there's quite a bit coming up in Citadel. It was absolutely... it was hard, but it was fun. And, I loved it and loved the challenge. I can't wait for you guys to see it and I hope you like it. But, I think action is it for me. It's where I want to go. It's what I want to explore."

Citadel marks Samantha's reunion with the filmmaker duo Raj & DK after their previous collaboration, The Family Man, with her performance garnering her praise from the audience and critics. She will be seen in the upcoming Prime web series alongside leading Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, with an announcement awaited in regard to its premiere date on the streaming platform.
